You should register parts as soon as they are installed on the vehicle (tractor and/or trailer). The extended warranty begins the day of installation.

Why should I register the parts?

You need to activate your warranty coverage by registering bundled parts to receive either the extended 3-Year or 5-Year warranty. The standard aftermarket parts warranty is limited to one year.

How do I file a claim?

If you experience nonconforming parts during the warranty period, simply e-mail Meritor Aftermarket Customer Care Team Warranty Experts at [email protected] or in Canada at [email protected]. When the claim is approved, replacement parts will ship via ground freight free of charge*.

*If expedited freight is necessary, then end-user agrees to pay air freight charges.

Aftermarket Parts Warranty

Meritor warrants all new parts to the buyer against defective material or workmanship (but not against damage caused by accident, abuse or improper installation, maintenance or repair) when such parts are used on vehicles the specifications of which have been approved by our Engineering department. The extended warranties do not apply to wheel assemblies with wide-base tires and 2.00” outset wheel rims, unless the wheel assemblies are installed on Meritor Dualtrac™ axles.

As the exclusive remedy under this warranty, we will replace such parts free of charge prepaid. Meritor reserves the right to ask for images or return of nonconforming parts.

If it is necessary to return any parts under this warranty for inspection, Meritor agrees to pay return freight charges.

THIS WARRANTY IS EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES OR CONDITION, EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IN NO EVENT SHALL SELLER BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY NATURE.

Only genuine replacement parts are covered by this aftermarket parts warranty.
